This week I had my first Yoga lesson. Most of you who know me will know that this is a very different Inge. Normally I would say that that is for either hippies or hipsters and I’m neither… But they say: “when in Rome…”
So I have to say, during the lesson I thought I can do this, and then balance…? and then Boring.. but then immediately after I was calm and relaxed, but still it didn’t feel like I had just been working out for the last 1,5 hours. The next day that changed, I had pain in my whole body, but the good pain. So I bought myself a pair of figure hugging yoga pants (that Stefan loves) and am going for it!
We spend the weekend in Ubud, friends of ours were so nice to trade their amazing spacious town house for our little but charming beach house. Ubud is a lovely town with a lot to offer. From a slightly busy but interesting art market to very nice serene places to just relax with good food and drinks. So we went to a Spa, got our mani/padi’s with a view on the rice paddies to just treat ourselves a little. Took a little ride in the neighborhood and went out for a lovely dinner. And last but not least we went to a museum (haven’t been to one in weeks). Arma’s theme is Indonesia, so either art from Indonesian artists or from artists from other countries but the work has an Indonesian theme. So we also saw some nice pieces made by Dutch painters of Balinees subjects. Worth wile.
